In Cold War-era Slovakia, schoolteacher Mária Drazdechová (Zuzana Mauréry) manipulates parents into doing favors for her in exchange for good grades for their children. When one of her students attempts suicide, the parents debate whether they should fight to remove Drazdechová, who's a powerful member of the Communist party. Directed by Jan Hrebejk. Richard Labuda, Csongor Kassai, Martin Havelka, and Peter Bebjak co-star.
